The pediatric eye chart is examined to screen or test individuals from 1/2 year of age. The eye chart contains pediatric symbols in proportional spaced lines (ETDRS format) for the monocular vision test. The opposite pediatric symbols are in the Massachusetts Visual Acuity Format for both the left eye and the right eye test.
The notations include the actual 3-meter letter size and the 3-meter measurements on the left side of the graph. Equivalent letter size notations include the 6-meter, decimal, and Log MAR measurements on the right-hand side of the graph. Each test has its own measurements.
